Tony and Gillean. It's wonderful that both of you are still getting out into Kananaskis and writing about it and photographing it. Along with Alf, you three have put this beautiful area on the map.

There is something very special about the Mud Lake, Burstall Pass, Robertson Glacier, and French Creek area. I feel fortunate in having been blessed with hiking and skiing these places.

Brian Hunter and I were able to ski the French Creek to Roberston Glacier loop once in June a long time ago.

In 1997 I was fortunate enough to bring my young family (Allan was 6, and Miranda 5 months old) and hike up onto Robertson glacier and share it with them.

Keep on trekking!

I did the french creek trail last weekend and it was really nice, once we left the main trail, we basically had the forest to ourselves, it was great!
