The Burstall-Piggy Plus Col | Trip Reports | Kananaskis Outdoors Forum

We finally had a chance to try this hike yesterday.  Although the skies were low, the views were stunning.  There is now fresh snow on the col and the creek is starting to freeze in the upper valley.   We enjoyed the karst meadow so much that we hiked back thru it instead of taking your route down to the creek.  Then, we climbed up on to a meadow above the creek on the east side for the hike out.  It was much easier walking than along the creekbed.  We came down early, but could have hiked there all the way to just before the creek and trail enter the trees.
