Jumping Pound Summit Aug 8 | Trip Reports | Kananaskis Outdoors Forum

I had guests again, so we went up Jumping Pound again (that's twice in two weeks). The trail crews appear to be done, and the trail mess I wrote about 2 weeks ago is no better down low (they even left a pair of work boots that are still sitting beside the ruined trail). It's now obvious that they brought in a bobcat to dig the ditches they did, and the trail's more eroded now than it was when we were here last just 2 weeks ago. It seems the trail has been wrecked forever. Really sad.

The junction of the summit trail with the ridge trail is covered in mulit coloured flagging. I suspect there is (or was) a mountian bike competion here recently.
