Hi Gillean,

I work at MEC Calgary and spoke with Tony a little over a week ago when he came into the store to talk to someone about the book situation. Short story is we received a direct shipment last week (of 60) and have asked our buyers to keep feeding them to us to keep the stock levels up. Don't hesitate to call or email me at the store with any questions.

PS: On a personal note, The new book is great! I promptly added it to my collection of older editions.

I got mine at Second Story Books in Canmore after I couldn't find it at MEC.  This was within ac ouple of weeks of the book coming out. Normally MEC Calgary is my first choice to shop for things like this, so I don't know what's oing onw ith the book department.  I hike every week with a large local club and most of us have all these books in our collections, be it the Daffern books, Copelands, etc.  Let's keep our local books flowing! I already can't wait for the next volumes to come out.  And keep on hiking :-)
