Heart Mountain Store (and restaurant, gas station) in Exshaw | Eateries & Watering Holes | Kananaskis Outdoors Forum

It’s been a long time since we visited the restaurant, so we shouldn’t have been surprised to find some changes. It’s now closed on weekends and only open on weekdays between 7am-3pm. It offers full breakfasts and a variety of lunchtime  foods including soup, sandwiches, wraps, burgers and fish ’n chips. On weekends you can pick up snacks from the display case. Choose from sandwiches, potato salad, plus sausage rolls and other savoury pastries, pizza slices and whole pizzas that can be heated up in the microwave. The sweet stuff includes  carrot cake, buttertarts and fresh fruit. Coffee, hot chocolate and tea is always available.
