Hi Tony;

Just discovered your site when someone clicked over to SkiHere from your link, so thanks for that. I share your concerns on K-Country issues, so I'm glad to see you've started this blog.

Once all the trails are in good shape(will that ever happen?) for skiing, I hope to use SkiHere as an advocacy site for the sport of cross country skiing, and try to make it easier for potential new skiers to try out this wonderful form of recreation.

I just got back from Cascade Fire Road. It was in great shape, double trackset with a skating lane up to the bridge and campground(about 7K).

I've never met you, but I know Ian. Your son? Awesome skier. Pretty sure I have every one of Gillean's guide books.

Good luck with the blog.
